Capitol Hill Campus and Facilities
The Campus of International Graduate University of Washington, DC is a dozen blocks from the United States Capitol and the House and Senate office buildings on Capitol Hill. It has four connected, spacious buildings on a block-long area that has lawns and a parking lot and is just two blocks from the Metropolitan Washington rapid transit system Potomac Avenue Metro station for the Blue and Orange Lines by which many areas of the city, Maryland and Virginia as well as the Reagan International Airport and the Union Railroad Station may be reached.
The Board Room
In addition to the Board of Governors and Board of Advisors meeting in the University`s spacious Board Room, it is used by a number of community institutions such as the District of Columbia Humanities Council.
This Conference Room is provided for small and larger meetings of the faculty. In addition, there is a break room with a sink, refrigerator, microwave oven and tables and chairs for use of faculty and students.
The Classroom
In three of its buildings are many well lighted, spacious classroms with comfortable chairs and tables that are moveable to accomodate the needs of faculty and students.
The Study Room
A well equipped study room with workstations where numerous students can concentrate and utilize computers and other equipment is provided.
Students on the lawn outside of the buildings
The carefully maintained lawns around the campus serve as informal classrooms for teachers and students who wish to vary their study environments.
